Hospice Care of the LowCountry

It’s National Social Work Month!

Social workers are known for their dedication to helping others; by providing support, finding resources, navigating through difficult journeys, offering problem-solving solutions and coping skills to those experiencing stressful issues. They are people who possess an immense amount of integrity and empathy.  They are critical thinkers, non-judgmental friends, active listeners, and boundary-setters.

Social workers provide essential services to the hospice community as a whole.  Hospice Care of the Lowcountry is privileged to have three ladies that exemplify these esteemed descriptions.  Barbara, Maggie and Stephanie do all of the above and more. Meeting our patients and their loved ones along this difficult journey is just one of their daily tasks. They are all true professionals; kind and compassionate in their work day in and day out. It is a true honor to work with them and have them on the Hospice Care of the Lowcountry team!

Happy Social Work Month, Ladies!
